Delta State Governor, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has celebrated prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, on his 68th birthday, describing him as one of Delta State’s most illustrious sons and a national figure whose impact in business, finance and politics remains unmatched.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor praised Emerhor as a turnaround strategist, a trailblazing venture capitalist and a first-rate accountant whose outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s banking and financial services sector continue to inspire new generations of professionals.

Oborevwori highlighted Emerhor’s celebrated career—most notably his tenure as Managing Director of the defunct Crystal Bank and later First Atlantic Bank—where his visionary leadership and professional excellence repositioned the institutions and cemented his reputation as one of the country’s most respected financial minds.

While noting that they once belonged to opposing political camps, the Governor commended Emerhor’s unwavering dedication to democratic values, grassroots development and constructive national engagement, saying his conduct has consistently reflected maturity, patriotism and statesmanship.

“As a politician, you have remained a pillar of support and leadership within our party structures, particularly in Ughelli North and Delta Central. Your generosity, service and commitment to community upliftment remain exemplary,” Oborevwori said.

He wished Emerhor long life, sound health and continued success, affirming that the APC stalwart’s contributions to Delta State and Nigeria will continue to resonate for years to come.
