The management of Dorben Polytechnic Garam, Abuja, has promised to sustain the high academic standard the school is known for since its existence.
The Director, Public Relations of the Polytechnic, Abdulkareem Akanbi disclosed this in a statement in Abuja yesterday.
The institution, which is known for its commitment to academic excellence and offers a range of programs designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s dynamic world, has earned high rating from education supervisory bodies in the country.
“We have been able to maintain high quality standard of academics in the school, and the management, umder the leadership of the Proprietor, Dr. Akpan Ben Ekwere is determined to continue to improve on what we have so far achieved.
“Within the few years of our existence, the polytechnic was at a time rated the third best private polytechnics in the country, and management is working hard see the institution come tops in that category,” the PRO said.
Speaking further, Akanbi said the school, which prides itself of having the best record of students behaviour among polytechnics in the country, will strive to ensure that cultism, gangsterism and other social vices do not infiltrate it.
Meanwhile, the institution has started selling admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session for available programmes in Diploma and Higher National Diploma.
Akanbi said the management has approved a 20% scholarship on tuition fees for Military and Paramilitary Personnel who have been recommended for admission into the Polytechnic by their offices, as well as female students in Science and Engineering programmes.
