Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team, D’Tigers will today battle African basketball power house, and five times AfroBasket champions, Senegal in the second quarterfinals match of the ongoing AfroBasket tournament in Luanda, Angola.

The country made 19 appearances at AfroBssket final tournament, winning in 2015. She won silver medal four times in 1997, 1999, 2003 and 2017, while bagging the bronze three times in 1995, 2005 and 2011.
She appeared at the African Games eight times winning gold in 2011 and five times bronze winners in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015, among other achiements.
